eats

This is probably the easiest dish I've ever made, so I'd be shocked if anyone had any difficulty making this lovely dish. It's flavorful, healthy, and if you want to impress anyone with your culinary skills, this recipe comes highly recommended.

Ingredients

  • 2 T. olive oil
  • 1 T. melted butter
  • 3/4 tsp basil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 T lemon juice
  • 2 6 oz salmon fillets (remove skin)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1: Preheat oven at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Step 2: In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, melted butter, basil, salt, and lemon juice and whisk together.

Step 3: In a baking dish, cut two generous tin foil slices and lay each salmon fillet in the foil.

Step 4: Pour marinade over each fillet & tent to seal mixture with salmon.

Step 5: Add baking dish to the oven and bake for 35 minutes.

Once completed, I suggest keeping the fillets in the tinfoil to keep the mixture contained while eating (+ easy clean-up).

Suggested Side Dishes

  • Garlic Mashed Potatoes
  • Baked Asparagus

If you'd like to remove salmon from foil, combine marinade with the suggested side dishes above, place salmon over mashed potatoes for spectacular combination.
